25% of iPhone Buyers are New AT&T Customers

American Technology Research analyst Shaw Wu estimated that about 25 percent of the people buying Apple’s iPhone are switching from their current carrier to AT&T just to use the combination iPod and smartphone. Our sister site, The Mac Observer, has the story.
