    • Powderfinger
    • Guitar-driven rock out of Australia, Powderfinger has not seen much exposure in the States, but should get a nod for their toe-tapping songs. Building off their previous release, "Internationalist" (

Alltel Intros nuTsie Remote iTunes Access

Alltel introduced the nuTsie service for its cell phones on Wednesday. The service lets subscribers access their iTunes library from their mobile handset and share playlists with other nuTsie users.

nuTsie is compatible with several Alltel handsets from Motorola, LG, and Samsung. Users can also listen to music recommendations from other subscribers as well as recommendations from the nuTsie team.

Alltel is charging customers US$4.99 a month, or $19.99 a year for nuTsie, and plans to add the service to more cell phones in the coming months.
