Apple Adds Classic Abkco Catalog, Claims Complete Rolling Stone Catalog

Apple Computer announced Wednesday the addition of some classic recordings from the Abkco catalog to the iTunes Music Store. This includes songs from Sam Cooke and The Animals, and Apple is claiming to be the only online music store to offer the complete "digital music catalog" of The Rolling Stones.

The Rolling Stones were one of the big name holdouts who came last to the online music market, but the longest-surviving act in Rock and Roll now has 25 albums at the iTunes Music Store.

As part of today's announcement, Apple is offering a pre-order offer for a special version of A Bigger Bang, the Stone's newest title. The special version includes an exclusive bonus video.

The new Abkco titles are available worldwide in all of Apple's iTunes Music Stores.
