Apple Brings Back Rubinstein as a Consultant

After he retired from his post as senior vice-president of the iPod division on April 14, Jon Rubinstein returned as a consultant, Apple said last Friday. According to CNN Money, he will be available "for an average of one business day per week until April 16, 2007." Apple will pay him a "non-material" flat fee.
Mr. Rubinstein was succeeded by Tony Fadell, an iPod engineer who joined that team in 2001 and become head of its engineering group in 2004.
