Apple CEO Steve Jobs: ‘There Are More Phones Yet to Roll Out’

Apple CEO Steve Jobs, speaking with Fortune magazine writer Peter Lewis, confirmed that more iTunes-capable cell phones in the works. "There are more phones yet to roll out," he told Mr. Lewis. "Cingular has been great to work with."
Mr. Lewis' article covers Apple's achievements during the past few years, including last week's announcement of new iMacs and iPods. Talking about the ability for consumers to buy current episodes of Desperate Housewives and Lost, he notes: "Ironically, Jobs himself has never been a fan of broadcast television."
Asked to describe Apple, Mr. Jobs compared the simple remote control shipping with the new iMac against the complex one that comes with the Windows XP Media Center Edition and said: "Apple is a company that takes complex technology and makes it easier and simpler to use. Our goal is to stand at the intersection of technology and the humanities."
