Apple Sells 21 Million iPods in Record Setting Quarter

Apple announced Wednesday it more than 21 million iPods during the December quarter, as it turned in record sales of US$7.1 billion for the quarter and record profits of some $1 billion. The record iPod sales came from enormous holiday demand, including the company’s new iPod shuffle model.
