Apple Updates iPod clasic, nano Firmware to 1.0.1

Apple has released an update, 1.0.1 for iPod classic and nano that, among other things, appears to have eliminated some sluggishness that reviewers have noticed in the interface.
Ars technica reported on the update and improved performance on Monday morning.
However, Apple didn’t have anything official to say about the update, seen when the iPod is connected to iTunes, except for commenting about it being a routine "bug fix."
