Apple Updates iPod shuffle Firmware

Apple Computer released iPod Updater 2005-09-23, an update that is specifically aimed at iPod shuffle, and addresses unspecified bug fixes for the shuffle. The name of the iPod shuffle update is iPod Software 1.1.2 for iPod shuffle.
For simplicity's sake, the update includes all of the same software versions as iPod Updater 2005-09-06 for all other iPod models. The update can be had through Software Update in Mac OS X, or through the Apple Downloads page at Apple's Web site. It weighs in at 32.8 MB.
As of this writing, Apple does not appear to be offering the update for Windows.
