Belkin Debuts TuneCast Auto, TuneFM iPod Peripherals

Belkin on Thursday introduced two new iPod peripherals: TuneCast Auto (US$59.99) and TuneFM ($39.99). The former powers and charges the MP3 player through a car's 12-volt cigarette lighter while allowing the user to listen to music on any FM station. And LCD screen shows the battery status and FM frequency while the included clip mounts the TuneCast Auto to any surface.
TuneFM plugs into the remote/headphone jack on an iPod and broadcasts its music to any FM frequency. It features a numeric LED display that shows the FM frequency and which of two preset stations is in use. A rear hold switch locks the buttons.
Belkin will ship both products next month. As The iPod Observer posted this article, product pages were not yet available on the company's Web site.
