Boulder Apple Store Loses 42 iPods

A Plexiglas case loaded with 42 iPod nanos walked out of the 29th Street Apple Store in Boulder, Colorado, on January 9. The iPods were all new 4GB second generation nanos, according to the Boulder Daily Camera, totaling US$8,705.
The display case was positioned near the store entrance, and was not locked down to prevent it from being removed. The serial numbers of the missing iPods had not been recorded yet, either.
The police report indicates that there are no suspects in the theft.
