    • Oddly enough, Playing The Angel is a return to form for Depeche Mode, even though it may well be argued that they never truly deviated from their roots in their more recent offerings. In the

    • "Black Milk" knocks me off my feet in this collection of moody and eclectic songs. Massive Attack uses samples and keyboards in a very unique way, but not all the songs pack the same punch.

Control iTunes Through Google Sidebar in Windows

Windows users have a new option for controlling iTunes called gdTunes, a plugin for Google’s newly launched Sidebar. Sidebar is effectively part of Google’s Google Desktop project, and gives Windows users quick access different Google content. gdTunes, however, allows you to control iTunes through the Sidebar, including: play/pause, next song, previous song, repeat one/all/off, shuffle on/off, show/hide iTunes, and song rating.

Sidebar is not available for Mac users, but Mac users wanting a desktop controller might look at Synergy, a Mac OS X menubar widget that puts iTunes controls in your menu bar.
