    • Mike Patton may well be one of the hardest working men in showbiz these days, and his latest with Fantômas underscores just about how far out he is willing to travel.

    • So Jealous is the third album from these sisters, and easily the one to single out for an introduction to their music. Some people may not get on board with their vocal styles, which are slightly

Creative Announces Zen V Plus

Creative announced its latest entry into the MP3 player battle on Tuesday with the Zen V Plus. This little Flash-based MP3 player will be available in black or white, fits in a small pocket, includes a 1.5-inch color display, plays music and videos, displays photos, and includes a voice recorder and FM radio. Creative says the orange, green, or blue "fun color accents" make the player feel as good as it looks, and is making a special effort to remind everyone that it uses the "popular Zen patent user interface."

Creative’s Zen V Plus.

The Zen V Plus will be available in August for US$129.99 for a 1GB model, $169.99 for the 2GB version, and $229.99 for the 4GB model.

Creative’s new Zen clearly has its sights focused on Apple’s iPod nano, and undercuts the nano’s price, too. Although it has some nice features, it still relies on third-party music download services, and doesn’t have the tight integration Apple offers with the iPod and iTunes Music Store.
