DLO Redesigns TransPod Auto Solution for iPod

DLO announced Wednesday the release of a redesigned TansPod auto solution for the iPod product line (iPod, iPod nano, iPod mini). TransPod includes a multi-frequency FM transmitter, a holder for your iPod, and a charger, all rolled up into one device. The redesign includes new industrial design, automatic intelligent power management, controllable backlit display, programmable preset stations and the company said the controls are easier to use.

Other new features (according to DLO):

  • Audio input to transmit the audio of any MP3 player or other audio device like a portable DVD player or PSP gaming system
  • Auxiliary output for use with car aux input ports or a cassette adapter
  • iPod mini insert for perfect iPod mini fit
  • iPod nano insert for secure nano fit
  • Fit pads to accommodate various 3G and 4G size models of iPod
  • Improved, now standard-black charger arm and screws for easy adjustment

TransPod from DLO

TransPod is priced at US$99 (Amazon lists it at $75.99, but currently shows the previous version of the TransPod).
