DLO Ships HomeDock Deluxe For iPod

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) on Wednesday announced that it is now shipping the HomeDock Deluxe for iPod, which the company originally introduced during Macworld San Francisco in January. At the time, the company expected it to ship in March.

HomeDock Deluxe enables users to navigate their iPods through their TV screens and play music, videos and slideshows. It connects via an RCA or S-Video port and comes with a built-in screensaver that protects the TV from burn-in.

It includes a 20-button remote control, an AC power supply, a six-foot AV cable, a USB port and a powered speaker adapter. It charges the iPod while the MP3 player is docked; the USB port can be used for charging and enables syncing the iPod with a computer. HomeDock Deluxe is compatible with all iPods that feature dock connectors.
