HD Radio with iTunes Tagging Now in Apple Stores
Sunday, April 6th, 2008 at 4:00 PM - by John Martellaro
The first HD radio receiver, made by Polk Audio, capable of iTunes tagging is now available at 170 Apple Retail stores and through the Polk Audio Website, according to Radio INK on Monday.
The model is the Polk I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 with an HD receiver and iTunes tagging. Tagging allows a listeners to press a tag button when they hear a song theyd like to buy. Later, after syncing, each tagged song appears in iTunes, ready to be sampled and possibly purchased in the normal fashion.
The product is one result of cooperation between Apple and HD Radio developer iBiquity launched in September, 2007.

The I-Sonic Entertainment System 2 is priced at US$499.
