HarperCollins Opens Books for iPhone

Book publisher HarperCollins launched a pilot program for Apple iPhone on Wednesday called Browse Inside. The service lets iPhone users browse through titles digitally by simulating the experience of thumbing through real books in a store.

Several titles are included in the test program including Now and Forever by Ray Bradbury, Love is a Many Trousered Thing by Louise Rennison, Life On the Refrigerator Door by Alice Kuipers, and Soul Catcher by Michael C. White. iPhone users can try out the free service by pointing Safari to the special iPhone version of the Browse Inside Web site.
