Helium Digital Announces 3.5 mm Headphone Adapter for iPhone

Helium Digital announced their HD-005 3.5 mm headphone adapter for the iPhone on Monday. The device allows any headphone that uses a standard 3.5 mm jack to connect to an iPhone, even those with a microphone.

"The recessed headphone port on the iPhone prevents many standard 3.5 mm headphone jacks from fitting the device properly. With the HD-005 headphone adapter, you can be guaranteed that all headphones will work with your device, regardless of the brand. The headphone adapter can also be used in conjunction with the Helium Digital HDBT-750 Bluetooth Headphones to add wireless Bluetooth Stereo Audio to any device," the announcement said.

HD-005 iPhone Adapter

Helium Digital also pointed out that unlike some other headphones adapters available for the iPhone, the HD-005 will act as an extension cable, carrying both the stereo audio and microphone signals from your device. This allows the adapter to be used with stereo headphones that have integrated microphone functionality.

For a limited time, Helium Digital is offering free shipping when purchased direct. The HD-005 adapter is priced at CAN$3.99. At the time of purchase, that amount will be converted to U.S. dollars.
