- Goldfrapp
On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.
The Last 5 Years (2002 Off-Broadway Cast)

Hi-Fi Link Connects iPod to Stereo or TV
Sunday, November 20th, 2005 at 2:00 PM - by Brad Cook
Xitel has introduced Hi-Fi Link, a dock that connects an iPod to a stereo or TV and operates it through an included remote control. Hi-Fi Link features gold-plated, line level RCA outputs as well as an RCA cable with gold-plated connectors. An audio adapter cable enables direct connection to powered speakers.
Hi-Fi Link employs Apple's Universal Dock design, allowing it to be used with 3G, 4G, 5G, photo, mini, nano and color iPods. It also charges the iPod's battery and automatically turns the MP3 player off when it's been paused for 30 seconds, picking up at the same spot when it's turned on again. The remote control works over distances up to 50 feet.
Technology featured in the Hi-Fi Link includes adjustable TruBass with advanced physacoustics, which allows small speakers to generate lower bass than they would normally be able to produce. TruBass can be bypassed with a pure signal path is needed.
Hi-Fi Link can not only output photos and video to a TV, but it also includes video buffering and enables users to run slideshows with music.
Xitel expects to ship Hi-Fi Link next month. Pricing was not announced.
