Latest User Group Podcast Features ‘Mac News Brain Trust’ Roundtable Discussion
Monday, June 20th, 2005 at 3:00 PM - by Brad Cook
Macintosh User Group (MUG) Center editor Chuck Joiner has posted the latest edition of his weekly Internet radio show, The User Group Report. In it, he features a "Mac news brain trust" roundtable discussion featuring MacCentral's Jim Dalrymple, Macsimum News' Dennis Sellers and The Mac Observer's Bryan Chaffin.
The three chatted with Mr. Joiner about Apple's announced move to Intel processors, the podcasting trend and more. The panel felt that podcasting was poised to explode while the Intel switch was considered a good thing that brings with it related issues, such as when current users should upgrade to new Macs.
Visit The MUG Center to listen to the report and learn more. Mr. Joiner also spoke with Brigadoon Software founder and CEO Martin Moran, who explained how his company's MacPhoneHome software can help not only recover a stolen Mac but also nab the thief. The User Group Report is available in streaming QuickTime or as a podcast or downloadable MP3 file.
