    • Beck is the modern master of the groove, and Guero is merely the latest example of this. From the opening power chords of "E-Pro," to the Pac-Man cuteness of "Girl," to the dirge-like lullab

    • Dropping like a bomb on some of the blah musical offerings of her contemporaries, Haunted was one of the best albums of 2000, obliterating the competition.

MIR3 Introduces Enterprise Notification System for iPhone

MIR3 announced the first Apple iPhone Notification and Command solution for iPhone on Tuesday. The system can be used for IT alerts, business continuity, disaster recovery, CRM, and other enterprise notifications.

The Web-based management system is accessed via the Safari browser "to enable corporate executives and IT administrators to initiate emergency notifications and remotely manage enterprise notification systems and response teams using Apple iPhone or iTouch mobile devices," the company said.

"Apples new generation mobile communicators is growing in popularity among corporate users because of their larger screen sizes, easier-to-use touch screen keyboards and anywhere network access," said Amir Moussavian, CEO of MIR3. "With this new application, MIR3 has empowered the Apple iPhone as a remote emergency command device."

Mr. Moussavian pointed out that when a disater or emergency occurs, its likely that executives won’t have access to their desktops when decisions must be made. "Mobile devices may be the only functional option for decision makers during an emergency, and we believe that the iPhone, with its game-changing communication capabilities, will be a preferred crisis management and emergency communications tool for many of them," he said.

MIR3 added that the applications are 100 percent compliant with Apple’s current guidelines for iPhone software development using the Safari browser. The company provides automated intelligent notification systems for enterprise and government agencies.
