Mustek Debuts Tower, Tabletop iPod Speakers

Mustek on Tuesday will introduce Paragon, a line of iPod speaker systems that feature a docking cradle for recharging the MP3 player, a three-way shielded speaker system, a built-in subwoofer, and an infrared remote. They’re available in black or white.
The first two Paragon products are the TW450 ($249.99), tower speakers that occupy less than one square foot and offer a 45-watt amplifier and a 5.25-inch, dual-coil subwoofer, and the DT260 ($129.99), a mini boombox that includes USB 2.0 and FireWire connectivity. Each one comes with a power adapter, a remote control, a docking insert for iPod mini and nano, an audio cable, a docking cover, and spacers for 15GB, 20GB, 30GB, 40GB, and 60GB iPods.
