New ITV Titles for Apple TV in UK

ITV and Apple have agreed to make some of ITV’s most popular shows available on the Apple TV in the UK, according to The Bolton News. Shows include The Prisoner and The Saint.
A total of 260 hours of programming will be made available, and includes: Lewis, Goodnight Mr. Tom, Inspector Morse, The Prisoner, The Saint and adaptations of Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey and Emma.
"ITV has thousands of hours of classic content in the archive which we are bringing to a whole new audience via iTunes," said Dawn Airey, managing director of ITV global content.
Each episode will sell for �1.89 and the complete series is available for purchase. Current ITV shows are not available, and the report didn’t mention whether several of the shows popular in the U.S., The Prisoner and The Saint would become available here.
