Not Enough 4GB iPod nanos?

Apple resellers and retail buyers are reporting that there aren’t enough 4GB iPod nano units in the retail channel. The Mac Observer, our sister site, reported Wednesday that Off The Record Research found not enough 4GB units to be available, that sales of the 20GB iPod are slowing, and that a price cut on the shuffle is expected in October.
One other minor tidbit is that one of ORR’s sources reported that, "some buyers were hunting for minis, as it now is viewed as a collector’s item." Read the full TMO report for more.
