Kainjow on Thursday released Pod2Go 1.5, the latest version of its utility for putting a variety of content, from news feeds to music lyrics, on an iPod. This update adds the ability to export music from an iPod to a Mac, an option for viewing local gas prices on an iPod, a new Directions tool and more.
This is a free update for current users. The full software is US$12 and requires Mac OS X v10.2.8 or higher. Kainjow also announced a contest in which it's giving away a new iPod nano in celebration of Pod2Go's third anniversary. All entries must be received by Sept. 16.
