- Goldfrapp
On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

Real Snipes at Apple Over Rolling Stones Claims
Thursday, August 4th, 2005 at 3:00 PM - by Brad Cook
Real Networks disputes Apple's claim that it has the entire digital catalog of The Rolling Stones available, according to Macworld UK, which received a complaint from the company. While Real did issue an August 2003 press release that said it was the first online service to offer the band's music, only 18 of the Stones' albums were available for purchase, with the rest available for streaming to subscribers.
Macworld UK's Jonny Evans reports that Real modified its complaint when he informed the company about that. "In response to questions," he writes, "it conceded that by this it meant 'available for streaming.'" The company then said that it was upset that Apple claimed to offer a more extensive catalog of Rolling Stones music, but Macworld UK points out that Apple currently offers three exclusive tracks from the band's upcoming album, which means it does have more Stones music available for purchase than any other online service.
In addition, Apple's iTunes Music Store is present in 20 countries, while Real's Rhapsody subscription service is available only in the US. Mr. Evans says that Rolling Stones and Apple representatives have been contacted for comment. Presumably, he will report the news if their statements offer additional insight into the matter.
