Recharge an iPod With a Hydrogen Fuel Cell

Voller recently introduced a hydrogen-powered charger with USB, 240-volt AC, and 12-volt DC outlets. As Stuff magazine pointed out, it’s environmentally friendly, and the charger constantly monitors the mix of air, hydrogen and water, alerting the user if there’s a problem.
The charger will run a laptop for 12 hours and an iPod or similar device for nearly a week. The price? £4,000 (US$7,361) for the charger, £200 ($368) per hydrogen canister, and £25 ($46) for the refilling mechanism.
