  • 8:30

    • 10 out of 10
    • Weather Report
    • This is Weather Reports quintessential line-up captured live. Jaco Pastorious and Peter Erskine join Wayne Shorter and, of course, Joe Zawinul to create this masterpiece.

Saffire Offers Big Entertainment with Jukebox Station for iPod

NEW YORK, NY -- Saffire is taking entertainment to the next level with the Jukebox Station for iPod. Laurent Bui, Marketing Manager from Pacific Rim Technologies, which is the exclusive marketer and distributor of the device, gave us some details on this entertainment system.

As the name implies, the system looks like a classic jukebox, and is over three feet high and weighs in at 55 pounds. The Jukebox has a Universal Dock where you place your iPod, and a remote control that provides 17 different functions. The Jukebox also offers an FM radio tuner, for those times when you don’t have your iPod handy.

Jukebox Station for iPod

The Jukebox offers 80 watts of audio power distributed among a woofer, two midrange speakers, and two tweeters. There are also RCA audio and video outputs, plus an S-Video output, so you can take iPod audio and video output and send it to other devices, such as your television.

The Jukebox Station for iPod will be available in November 2006 with a suggested retail price of US$699.99. You can also pre-order now for US$599.99.
