Scosche Industries Intros Bluetooth-Based iPod Interface

Scosche Industries has introduced a Bluetooth-based wireless interface for iPod and other MP3 players. The transmitter plugs into the headphone jack of the iPod and the receiver connects to the auxiliary input of a car stereo's head unit or a home stereo system. It has a range of 30 feet and can run for 15 hours on its rechargeable Lithium Ion battery.
The system comes in different versions for car or home use, as well as for use with 3G or 4G iPods and iPod minis or for use with other types of MP3 players. The car kit for iPods will sell for US$249.99 when it ships in mid-August, while the home kit for iPod will be available in the fall for $249.99. Car and home kits for other types of MP3 players will ship in the fall for $249.99 and $129.99, respectively.
