Showtime: Let the Photoshopping Begin

Apple's Showtime media event, scheduled for Tuesday morning, is drawing speculation from analysts, the media and the public. To help feed that frenzy, the usual "leaked photos" are appearing online, too. digg links to a MacVods image that supposedly comes from inside the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater showing a banner featuring the new iPod.

Many people are expecting Apple to announce a new video capable iPod with a 16:9 aspect ratio display and on-screen controls instead of the traditional Click Wheel, along with a new iTunes Music Store video download service.
