On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

Tamagotchi: ‘Round the World Comes to Clickwheel iPods

Namco Networks on Tuesday released Tamagotchi: Round the World, an iPod clickwheel game based on the popular digital pets. Players select one of four Tamagotchi and play six missions that take place on three different planets, interacting with the living clouds, plants, geysers, and seedlings -- all known as Gaiatchi -- that populate those worlds.
Players Tamagotchi interact with the Gaiatchi through a variety of mini-games, including rock-paper-scissors, a dancing game called Move It, memory match, a math puzzle, and more. As with the standalone digital pets, players must keep their Tamagotchi happy by tickling it and playing games with it; unhappy Tamagotchi wont do as well in the mini-games as happy ones.
