Turkcell Will Bring iPhone 3G to Turkey

On Monday, Turkcell said it will sell the Apple iPhone 3G in Turkey, according to the Associated Press. However, no date for the launch was given.
Turkcell is the leading wireless provider in Turkey with 35.4 million subscribers.
The carrier said that both prepaid and recurring subscription services will be available.
During Apple’s earnings report on July 21, the company said that 21 more countries would launch the iPhone on Aug 22, but Turkey wasn’t on the list, suggesting a launch later in the year for Turkcell.
