    • We all know it, right? Well, ya just gotta have it. 2112 finally showed Rush out on their own, doing their own thing, and doing it well, IMHO.

iPO Quick Tip

Using Free AT&T Hotspots with your iPhone

AT&T is finally giving iPhone owners free Wi-Fi access at its hotspots, including Starbucks locations and airports. Taking advantage of the wireless Internet access isn’t hard to do -- you just need to follow a few steps to get online and surf.

To start using an AT&T Wi-Fi hotspot with you iPhone, do this:

  • Tap Mobile Safari and wait for it to open the AT&T Get Connected Now Web page.

  • Use your iPhone phone number to log into AT&T hotspots.
  • Enter your iPhone phone number without dashes (like 3038675309), tap the I agree to the Terms of Service check box, and then tap Click Here To Continue.

  • AT&T sends you an SMS with your access code.
  • AT&T will send you an SMS message with a special link that unlocks the hotspot you are at so you can start surfing the Web. Tap View to open the SMS application and view the message.

  • The SMS message link gets you on the Web.
  • Tap the link in the SMS message to jump back to Mobile Safari and start surfing the Web.

The link AT&T sends you lets you access the hotspot you are currently at for 24 hours. Once that time window expires, you’ll have to start the process over again and get a new access link code from AT&T, which isn’t that big of a deal since it only takes a couple of minutes before you can start Web surfing again.
