Verizon Drops Music Download Fee
Sunday, July 30th, 2006 at 3:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
Verizon Wireless is eliminating the US$15 a month fee it charges subscribers for its V Cast music download service. According to MSNBC, the cell phone service provider will continue to charge $1.99 per song. The price restructuring comes as Verizon rolls out its new cell phone and M3 player dubbed "chocolate." The phone bears a striking resemblance to the iPod nano, and even includes a Click Wheel-style interface.
