Vodafone Gets Restraining Order Against T-Mobile’s iPhone in Germany

A unit of Vodafone in Germany has sought and obtained a restraining order against Deutsche Telekom, according to Dow Jones Newswire on Monday. The order, however, doesn’t seek a total stop in sales.

Vodafone told Dow Jones on Monday that they are questioning Deutche Telekom’s Apple iPhone sales practices. Specifically, they are questioning the use of the device "limited to certain fees within T- Mobile’s subscription offerings," in Hamburg’s regional court Vodafone said.

A spokersperson for Vodafone said that they want the business practice examined, however, the restraining order doesn’t call for a total sales stop.
