Warning: Do Not Attempt to Flush iPod

A passenger on an airline flight last week accidentally dropped his iPod in a lavatory toilet, prompting a diversion to the nearest airport and a serious security scare. He was on his way to meet someone he had met in the massively multi-player online game World of Warcraft; he posted his entire story on the game’s forums. It’s an intriguing glimpse into how something so simple can create such a disruption. The story is also being discussed at Slashdot.
