Big Stone Phone Releases Free Version of TalkingPics for iPhone
Monday, February 2nd, 2009 at 4:19 PM - by Bryan Chaffin
Big Stone Phone -- a division of Stone Design Software -- announced Monday the release of TalkingPics micro 1.3, a free version of the company's TalkingPics software. TalkingPics micro allows iPhone and iPod touch users to record audio field notes and attach them to text notes or photographs, and present them as a slideshow directly on your iPhone.
The software's central premise is the ability to record an audio note, and then attach either text notes and/or photographs to that recording. Recordings are bundled into projects, and users can play back a project in the form of a slideshow.
The free micro version includes the following features:
- Make audio recordings of any length
- Attach notes and a photo to each recording
- Attach map of current location to recording
- Run slideshows on the iPhone
TalkingPics micro is free, while its big brother, TalkingPics, is priced at US$6.99.
