Core Coders Releases Planetarium 1.1 Solar System Simulation App for iPhone, iPod Touch

UK-based developer Core Coders announced the release of Planetarium 1.1 on Wednesday, the company's solar system simulation application for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch handsets. The application features an advanced positioning system that allows users to move freely throughout the solar system.
This new version contains the following enhancements:
- Over 27,000 stars in Star Mode giving an ultra realistic and accurate night sky.
- Milkyway Image Mode showing the Milkyway.
- All major moons now added.
- Improved sun flare effect.
- Selected Orbit displays.
- Equatorial Grid.
- Ecliptic Grid Improvements.
Planetarium 1.1 retails for $2.99 on the App Store and requires iPhone OS 2.0 or later to install and run. The update is free to current owners.
