Day-n-Night Brings Night & Day to Your iPhone

Day-n-NightAustin-Soft announced Tuesday the release of Day-n-Night for the iPhone and iPod touch. The app offers users a view of the planet with day and night light cycles including a mix of the two for twilight sections of the planet. The app also offers a real-time clock display with day and date.

The images come from NASA's Visible Earth collection of images, and the app allows users to zoom in from the whole-planet view pictured below.

Day-n-Night requires iPhone Software 2.0, and is priced at US$1.99 at the App Store.
