Discovery Channel fans that just can't get enough of their favorite shows can get a little bit more now that the network has released its own application for the iPhone and iPod touch. The Discovery Channel app lists upcoming shows, includes video clips from popular shows, and offers up some news, too.
The app streams video clips from several Discovery Channel shows such as MythBusters, Deadliest Catch and Man vs. Wild, offers behind the scenes information, includes photo galleries, and also includes regularly updated quizzes.
The Discovery Channel app is free and available for download at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
