EA Reveals More Sims 3 iPhone Details

Electronic Arts on Tuesday gave gamers another glimpse at Sims 3 on the iPhone, which is expected to be released at the same time as its Mac/PC counterpart in June. The company promises more than 10 hours of 3D gameplay, with support for the iPhone's touchscreen interface and accelerometer.
As in the computer version of the game, characters in the iPhone edition of Sims 3 will be able to explore an ever-changing, open neighborhood, rather than waiting for loading screens to move from one location to another. Sims will be able to develop relationships with each other, complete with their own wishes and goals, as well as engage in four mini-games: fishing, gardening, cooking, and house repairs.
Players will also be able to customize their Sims' personalities, hair styles, clothes, and more. During Apple's announcement of iPhone software 3.0 earlier this year, EA demonstrated two minutes of Sims 3 gameplay; that video is available on YouTube.
