EA’s Need for Speed Franchise Races to the iPhone

Electronic Arts has released Need for Speed Undercover to the App Store, marking the debut of the popular racing franchise on the iPhone. Players get behind the wheel of 20 exotic vehicles, including the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Porsche Carrera GT, tilting their handheld to steer through 24 covert missions. They activate nitrous boost and speedbreaker enhancements by swiping their finger on the screen.
Need for Speed Undercover also features eight race modes, including Highway Battle, Sprint, and Cop Takeout, as well as customization options for vehicles and the opportunity to earn performance upgrades. Players can listen to the game's soundtrack or their iTunes library.
Pricing is US$9.99 and iPhone software 2.2 is required. EA reveals on the Need for Speed Undercover App Store page that Madden NFL 10 is headed to the platform too.
