Glu Mobile Brings Atari’s Deer Hunter 3D to the App Store

Glu Mobile on Monday launched Atari's Deer Hunter 3D for iPhone and iPod touch. While it's not the first hunting game to appear on the platform, it is the first such port from the console world, where the Deer Hunter series has been popular on a variety of computer operating systems, videogame consoles, and mobile devices.
The game features seven types of animals with realistic sense and behaviors, 27 shooting locations spread across three worldwide destinations, upgrades for better weapons and accessories, and quick play or full hunt game modes. Players can view their best kills and achievements in the trophy room.
Deer Hunter 3D is US$5.99 and requires iPhone software 2.2.
