iPod Boom Helps Apple’s New Zealand Distributor

Apple's distributor in New Zealand, Renaissance, on Tuesday announced that its profit has doubled and further growth lies in sight, according to the news site Stuff. Renaissance credits the iPod boom as the reason behind a 36% increase in revenue to NZ$69.5 million for the six months ending June 30, with a net profit to $1.93 million. Shares in the company are now $1.30, a four-year high and up 30% for the year.
