iPod Sees Potential as a Business Training Tool

Trinity Workplace Learning, a business-to-business provider in Dallas, plans to deliver training and education materials via iPod, starting in the second quarter of 2006.
Mark Vevera, the company's vice-president of marketing and product management, told Internetnews.com reporter David Needle that while Trinity typically produces 15-to-30-minute clips, it will likely create shorter content for the iPod's small LCD. Mr. Vevera said that Trinity may offer packaged solutions in which it sells customers iPods as well as subscriptions to educational content.
Creative Strategies analyst Tim Bajarin told Mr. Needle: "I've been surprised there hasn't been more learning material out there for PDAs and media players. Learning and mobile education is a nice fit there, it doesn't have to all be about entertainment."
