iPod+eBook: A New Market for Apple

The iPod is already an amazingly versatile device: It can play music and videos, show photos, play audio books, and play games. It is not, however, an ebook reader, which is something at least one iPod fan would like to see change.

ebookreader posted a video on YouTube showing off a concept for an ebook reader accessory for the iPod. Thanks to Google Sketchup, the video shows how an iPod could be attached to an ebook reader display and how iTunes could be used to distribute ebooks.
Considering the cost of most ebook readers on the market, an iPod ebook accessory sounds like a great idea. Hopefully someone at Apple is paying attention.
