iTunes Extender Gets Cover Styles and More Compact GUI

CoverSutra announced on Wednesday the immediate availability of version 1.2 of its iTunes extender for Mac OS X, CoverSutra. The new version adds three different cover styles including a retro vinyl record style. The player controls window has also been redesigned with a more compact GUI.

CoverSutra gives iTunes users handy and attractive way to control iTunes without having to leave the currently active application. Currently, users must either switch to the iTunes application or have limited functionality in the iconized view. CoverSutra gives the user better control through the use of global keyboard shortcuts, information bezels and a transparent floating window. In addition, CoverSutra has integrated support for Last.fm.


CoverSutra 1.2 Cover Styles

CoverSutra 1.2 requires Mac OS X 10.4.7 or later and is compatible with Leopard. It is priced at �14.95 (~ US$22).
