Retinal Media released Read 2 Me 1.0 for iPhone and iPod Touch on Wednesday. Read 2 Me gives users the ability to listen to e-text files read aloud, using Acapela-Group's text-to-speech synthesis technology.
The app also allows readers to import any plain .txt file into the synthesizer from any URL based location on the web. Acapela's natural voices give users a way to turn the iPhone into a storyteller.
Read 2 Me Version 1.0 features include:
