Major SlotZ Racer Update Allows Sharing of Custom Tracks, More

Freeverse on Tuesday updated its slot car racing game SlotZ Racer with several new features, including a track manager page for sharing custom-designed tracks with friends, five new camera modes, four new cars, and more. Players can also shake their iPhone or iPod touch to return to the main menu from any menu, start a quick race, or undo a change in the track editor.

Other additions include scenery editing for custom tracks, an "oops" factor that allows adjustment to how often computer players make mistakes, four bridge heights, and a "strict" championship option that doesn't let players restart races during a championship but does allow them to unlock new car types after winning trophies.

Freeverse also made a variety of performance improvements to the game and the track editor. SlotZ Racer sells for US$2.99 at the App Store. iPhone software version 2.2 is required.
