    • "Black Milk" knocks me off my feet in this collection of moody and eclectic songs. Massive Attack uses samples and keyboards in a very unique way, but not all the songs pack the same punch.

    • These guys know how to put on a live show, and whomever recorded this knows how to capture one. Rock Spectacle is one of the warmest-sounding recordings I've ever heard, and totally fills a room at a

    • Go Away White is an album I've been waiting more than 20 years to hear, and the good news is that it was worth the wait.  The latest -- and last, no...for real this time -- album from

The Sims 3 to be Published for Mac, iPhone in June

Electronic Arts has announced that The Sims 3 will be published for Mac, iPhone, iPod touch, PC, and various mobile devices on June 2, 2009. New features in the game include more customization options for Sims' looks, the ability to choose up to five traits to construct unique personalities, goal-oriented gameplay with short- and long-term objectives, new movie creation capabilities, and more.

EA also promises on the Sims 3 web site that players will be able to "customize everything" as well as have their characters interact with others in a seamless neighborhood. In previous Sims games, players had to wait through a loading screen to visit another house go to a specific location, such as a downtown shopping area.

What EA calls "the living neighborhood"

EA did not explain how the game will differ between the computer and handheld device editions.

The publisher also did not disclose pricing nor system requirements, although it's reasonable to assume that The Sims 3 will only support Intel-based Macs, since EA uses TransGaming's Cider to port games to the Mac, which leaves out PowerPC support. However, a Collector's Edition, which includes a 2GB flash drive, an in-game European sports car download, and other items, is currently available for pre-order for US$69.95.
