On their latest CD, Supernature, Goldfrapp has put together a successful mix of 1980-era New Romanticism, German cabaret, and T. Rex glam that leaves you riveted even through the album's lulls. It's a great amalgam that sounds current without sounding at all dated.

AT&T CEO: 3G iPhone Coming in 2008
Wednesday, November 28th, 2007 at 3:00 PM - by Jeff Gamet
Apples iPhone has been dinged by some for using AT&Ts slower EDGE wireless data technology instead of the faster 3G wireless technology. AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson claims that will change when Apple releases a new model iPhone some time in 2008, according to Bloomberg.
When asked about the possibility of a 3G-capable iPhone at a meeting in Santa Clara, California, on Wednesday, Mr. Stephenson commented "Youll have it next year."
He didnt know how the new iPhone would be priced and added that Apple CEO Steve Jobs would "dictate what the price of the phone is."
Mr. Jobs has claimed that the combination iPod and smart phone uses the slower EDGE technology for data transfers over cell networks because the faster 3G technology drains batteries too quickly. He also said that he hopes 3G chips will improve enough in 2008 to offer at least five hours of battery life.
Apple has not revealed when it plans on shipping new iPhone models.
